The 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 introduces a significant evolution in its powertrain, replacing the previous 3.0-liter V6 with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This innovative engine produces 402 horsepower, incorporating Formula 1-derived technology with an electric exhaust-gas turbocharger to enhance responsiveness and reduce lag. Paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and AMG’s 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system, the C43 accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 4.6 seconds. 

Externally, the C43 maintains the elegant design language of the C-Class, subtly enhanced with AMG-specific elements such as a distinctive grille, sportier bumpers, and quad exhaust outlets. The interior offers a luxurious cabin equipped with advanced technology, including the MBUX infotainment system with AMG-specific displays, premium materials, and supportive sport seats, ensuring both comfort and a dynamic driving experience.
